What’s the benefit to a Program?
The care of a landscape is not really something that can just be turned on and off like a light switch. The living parts of the landscape will continue to need maintenance to be at their best.
A healthy and beautiful lawn can be yours with consistent maintenance throughout the year. One-time treatments may work in the short term, but they do not provide the long-term benefits that come from regular care. Regular fertilizing and watering, mowing at the right height, weeding, and aeration are just a few of the tasks that need to be done regularly to keep your lawn looking its best.
We have put together three programs covering the three primary care areas for providing your lawn with the support it needs.
-
Weed Control
Weed control is very important to help your lawn not be competing with other plants for water and nutrients. Plus they look ugly 😉 -
Pest Control
By reducing the pests in the lawn (especially the damaging ones) we improve the over all quality health. And they don’t bother you either (bonus). -
Fertilizers
Regular fertilizer applications give your lawn all the nutrients it needs to grow and thrive. This also helps in reducing the effects of disease on the turf as well.
Learn More About Our Treatment Programs
Healthy-Turf
With our Healthy-Turf Programs, we start with at least the BASE program level of treatments on every property. Think of having one of these treatment programs as giving your turfgrass a multivitamin. Setting this relatively low-level starting point for programs on each property we serve with treatments provides the basis for building a Healthy-Turf lawn as we move forward.
Selective Programs
We know that some clients have concerns that may not be addressed within our more broad coverage Healthy-Turf treatment programs, or there may be reasons to choose another direction in the care of your property. We offer a variety of selective treatment programs that will hopefully satisfy such a need. Let us know how we can best serve you.
The programs that we offer will provide a starting point. However, we understand that not every property is precisely the same. There are unique threats and a different level of health to the turf on each property, and there are times this needs to be addressed in a customized manner. In addition, there are so many other specific treatments for the wide variety of issues you may be facing with your turfgrass… we would love to work with you to address those particular treatments for your specific property concerns.
Lawns also require seasonal maintenance for optimal health. For example, during spring or early summer, seasonal activities such as core aeration will help remedy compaction conditions in the soil to give your lawn a breath of fresh air.
